No matter how large or small your business is, if you are creating content, you need to be thinking about diversity. I always tell clients that their online presence forms the DNA of their business. Building diversity in to your content strategy has a positive impact not only on being able to relate to a wider audience and improved employee branding, but also doing your bit to add a positive impact back into the world.
A 2013 report by Deloitte found that when employees ‘think their organisation is committed to and supportive of diversity, and they feel included’, their ability to innovate increases by 83%.
My motto with the inclusion of diversity in content creation is simple… Let’s make the normal, normal.
